Country-style wedding, shabby chic wedding, vintage, rustic ...
Whatever you want to call it, I think this bride hit just the right note when she styled her big day and reception.

The first thing that caught my eye was the warm tones of the photography, which gave a dreamy 'yesterday' look to the images. (Something to discuss with your photographer if you're going for this type of mood.)
Her 1920's inspired bridal gown was perfectly chosen and accessorised beautifully with delicate retro-style diamanté jewellery and hair updo.
Pretty chintz handkerchiefs with the handwritten invitations set the tone from the beginning, with the pastoral theme carried through to the reception seating.

I really love the wedding breakfast setting - plenty of ideas and inspiration for you here too. Wild flowers and greenery are literally heaped along the centre of the long table (complete with embroidered tablecloth). Vintage crockery too (you can hire this in lots of places). And simple little green favour boxes tied with lace ribbon (full marks for a diy wedding idea).

All in all, this is one country-style wedding that has a simple rural charm - but oozes quiet sophistication.
