So imagine you're a wedding photographer. You've shot literally hundreds of happy brides, grooms and wedding parties.
But now your own wedding day has come around. What are your own big day photographs going to look like?
Well, here we feature an exclusive first look at the wedding of photographer Alex Beckett to Holly.
Of course, Alex didn't want to spend his wedding day fiddling with his camera so friend and colleague Albert Palmer took these shots and I think they are completely gorg.
I love the bride's traditional lace wedding gown and tulle veil , the sapphire blue bridesmaids dresses highlighted with pink orchid hair accessories, the alternating historic backdrops of Cambridge colleges interpersed with market scenery. There's so much to look at and such inspiration here.
Holly told me that in many respects this was a handmade wedding, with the flowers, reception decorations and wedding cake made by friends. All very personal and unique to Holly and Alex.
The groomsmen all sported ivory ties and waistcoats by Dessy and Holly dressed her bridesmaids in Dessy's twist wrap dresses (versatile and convertible) which they'll be able to wear again and again, whenever they want to look chic and elegant.
