I don't know about you but I think this winter seems to be going on forever. I wouldn't mind if we had bright blue skies and sunny cold days but I'm looking out of the window at rain and sleet ....

The colours of the flowers, the bridesmaids dresses and the whole exuberance of the day just shone out at me. I love the green and pink wedding theme used for the bridesmaids - it's a colour combination that works so well. Lots of Mexican/desert influences here. (The wedding took place at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA.)
A Colourful Wedding Day
The bride and groom's big day took place in California where the light is bright. Not a place for muted hues or pastels - so the bride quite rightly opted for a super colourful wedding day - with dazzling blooms, jewel coloured bridesmaid dresses and splashes of sunshiny yellow.
What do you think of the flower girl pomanders? Flower girls can get a bit fidgety and it's not always easy to carry a bouquet - but these pomanders look beautiful and work perfectly carried by cute young bridesmaids.
I also love the pew ends which decorated the church to perfection.
And as for the place settings with a simple gerbera flower tucked in - how easy would they be to make up yourself if you were having a handmade wedding?
Enjoy the inspiration of this colourful wedding. And if you fancy putting your bridesmaids in green dresses, you'll find an amazing selection at Dessy.
