Dessy / After Six Partners with The Groomsman’s Suit
As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus said “The only thing constant in life is change” and indeed the buying habits of today’s formal wear customers have changed. Many of today’s grooms and groomsmen are wearing tuxedos but an increasing number are also wearing suits. The groomsman suit offers both tuxedos and suits for the wedding as well as a selection for women.
Dessy Group’s menswear division, After Six continues to offer a small selection of tuxedos plus men’s shirts and formal wear accessories. The partnership with TGS significantly expands style options available to its customers.
With prices starting at $194 suits from the groomsman suit are as inexpensive as renting.
Alan Dessy says “The groomsman suit offers a better fit solution, group ordering, and immediate replacements. These services will provide After Six customers with a superior shopping experience in comparison to other formal wear retailers. We are looking forward to the next chapter of After Six history in partnership with Jeanne and Diana’s team at TGS”
About The Groomsman's Suit
The idea for TGS was born from Jeanne Foley's personal experience planning her wedding. With no other options
available to affordably outfit their groomsmen, she and her husband were forced to go the usual rental route only to be
disappointed by the logistics, poor fit, and price. Using her fashion industry experience, Jeanne set out to create a new
solution for black tie attire: a sharp-looking tuxedo that could be purchased for less than the cost of a traditional
rental. Diana Ganz, her longtime childhood friend, joined her efforts after receiving her MBA from MIT Sloan and
together they launched The Groomsman Suit in February 2016. Since then, the company has had the honor of being a
part of countless weddings helping thousands of men look sharp. www.thegroomsmansuit.com
